Apply now for more details! The Training Manager’s primary role is to provide the organization with the tools and training its employees need to ensure the successful operation of the property. This leadership position will coordinate with internal and external professionals and department leaders to develop, execute and manage strategic training plans to ensure brand and Company standards are understood and adhered to throughout the organization.Work RequirementsAligns, communicates and implements the company’s strategic learning and development programs and initiativesGuides management and employee actions by researching, developing, implementing and managing training programsPartners with internal and external experts to develop and deliver credible and relevant trainingProvides on-going coaching and guidance for departmental leaders to ensure consistency in standardsEnforces the Company’s brand, culture and core values through new hire orientation and continuous improvementFocuses on special projects, workforce development, and succession planning and leadership development.Manages new hire orientation and onboarding processEnsures all team member training, documentation and testing is completed in the required time frameEnsures all training material is up to date and in compliance with local, state and federal law or association/industry best practicesManages the design, communication and execution of the Company’s performance management processSupports the development of a training budget and works within the approved budgetary guidelines for the company by estimating, forecasting and anticipating requirements, trends and variancesProvide guidance to the leadership team regarding learning and development needsFunctions as a member of the Human Resources team by supporting and backing up other members of the teamOther duties as assignedQualifications3 years of Training, Learning and Development experience, preferably in the hospitality industryExperience managing strategic learning and development programs in a complex environmentIndependent, self-starting thought leader with a proven record of developing and implementing successful and sustainable training programsBachelor’s degree or higher in a related fieldIndustry or function-related certification preferred, such as a PHR or SHRM-CPExcellent oral and written communications skills in English requiredBilingual ability preferred (Spanish)Ability to collaborate with leadership teams and present innovative ideasStrong computer skills, especially MS Office and PowerPointExceptional presentation and public speaking skillsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
