Permanent full-time, part-time and casual opportunities Busy 12 Operating Theatres Dynamic and supportive team – have you contribution valued! Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, and working closely with Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetic staff, the Theatre Orderly is required to: Transporting patients between theatre and wards Assisting in the day to day function of the Operating Suite with patient positioning, and theatre set ups Assisting with stock delivery and replenishment as required Cleaning and waste removal This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and ability to thrive on being a part of a busy theatre department. You will be working alongside a diverse team of doctors, nurses and non-clinical staff. Key Skills and Experience Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent is essential Technician experience within an operating theatre is essential Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently when required Be available for a range of shifts across a 7 day rotating roster Remuneration A base hourly rate ranging from $28.84 - $31.05 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD Support Services Level 2 Yr1-4) What's in it for you?
