Offered in Hobart or Launceston Full time, ongoing position About the opportunity We are seeking the appointment of a full-time Strategy Officer to the Strategy team within the Division of Student Services & Operations reporting to the Senior Strategy and Markets Analyst.
The Strategy Officer is responsible for working collaboratively with the Strategy team to support the effective delivery of a broad range of strategic projects and planning and implementation of strategic processes across the University of Tasmania.
What you'll do: Collaborate with the strategy team to coordinate timely delivery of specific projects. Collate and analyse data for project purposes, prepare reports and other necessary documentation, and implement updates as required. Attend stakeholder meetings to gather insights and take comprehensive notes for discussion and sharing with the strategy team. Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of strategy engagement activities with university leadership groups and other key stakeholders. Proactively contribute ideas and effort for continuous improvement. What we're looking for: Relevant experience in a similar role/area (minimum 1+ years) A passion to solve problems whilst demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and curiosity to investigate deeper when required. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust-based stakeholder relationships at various levels. Extensive skills and capability in Microsoft Office suite and collaborative tools like Zoom, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $110,273 comprising base salary within the range of $86,918 to $94,250 plus 17% superannuation.
