Salary range: $90,199 – $107,062 plus 15.4% super Location: Melbourne / Canberra – with hybrid working arrangements available Status: Flexible: Full-time / Part-time Position type: Non-Ongoing (12 months) / Ongoing * We are looking for a talented Strategic Communications Officer to join our Strategic Communications and Engagement Group on a non-ongoing basis for 12 months, either in our Canberra or Melbourne office.
In this newly created role, you will liaise with a range of internal stakeholders including Commissioners, in a representational role on behalf of the group. You will play a key role in curating and executing engaging content across various social media platforms.
You will be required to work collaboratively within the team including sharing and developing specialised knowledge in areas of expertise. You may also be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities as needed, including the setting of priorities, and managing workflows.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to promote the Productivity Commission as a leader in providing independent research and advice to Government on economic, social, and environmental issues affecting the welfare of Australians. If you have proven experience with content creation including developing creative content to explain concepts and messages in an accessible manner, and a great understating of social and editing apps, we encourage you to apply.
Academic qualifications or experience in communications or a related field, such as stakeholder engagement, public relations or editing are highly desirable.
