Children's Cancer Institute is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Computational Biology team.
Responsibilities in this role will include: Building and Managing CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment •Enabling testing automationDeveloping infrastructure solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areasDocumenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear codePreparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programmingImproving operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and proceduresUpdating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsProtecting operations by keeping information confidentialSupporting and developing software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunitiesMaking informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scaleWe save & change lives.
