The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong communicator who excels at collaborating with both internal and external team members. This individual should be able to convey technical concepts to other developers, managers, and internal customers. The successful candidate must have strong technical skills utilizing clean and solid programming techniques, web security best practices, and design patterns. Primary Responsibilities: Work with Sr. Web Development Services Manager and vendor partners to ensure following Sitecore development best practices Build content-driven enterprise-level web applications, implementing user interfaces and back-end functionality for both internal and customer experiences Integrate with third-party systems by building web services, providers, and designing APIs Write clean, well-organized code, following industry standard coding practices (SOLID) and security guidelines (OWASP) Assist with architecting solutions to meet the business requirements Create documentation around processes, including deployments, solution audits, data and content migrations, and systems integrations Identify risks early and mitigate or escalate, as appropriate Work in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, meeting delivery milestones and quality expectations Communicate complex technical solutions, as needed Write unit tests and apply other quality measures around performance, security, and scalability Work with the business team to understand functional requirements and translate that into technical requirements and assist in estimating new projects and defining scopes Support Sitecore content editors with questions and troubleshooting complex content tickets Help maintain current continuous integration and continuous delivery for development, QA and live websites Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field 5+ years Sitecore experience, Sitecore XP 10 is preferred Sitecore knowledge: Sitecore Templates, APIs, SXA, Helix guidelines, Renderings, Sitecore marketing capabilities, multi-language global site Strong experience with search and indexing technologies, preferably Coveo for Sitecore and Solr Experience training other developers Experience working with headless architecture Experience with ecommerce integrations, SAP Commerce preferred DevOps experience, specifically creating CI/CD pipelines; and utilizing tools such as Azure Dev Ops Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Preferred experience collaborating with front end developers on jQuery, Vue.js, and React js frameworks Preferred experience in PowerShell scripting language EEO Statement New England Biolabs is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community; as an EEO/AA employer, New England Biolabs considers applicants for employment without regard to, and does not discriminate on the basis of, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disability.
