This role will be working closely with the Manager Fabrication, driving process engineering projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost levels. Your experience and innovative ideas will see you leading technical R&D projects for resolving production issues and improving production efficiencies.Your ResponsibilitiesDrive process improvement initiatives across the Coining DivisionIdentify efficiency gaps and implement solutions that increase production throughputManage the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniquesInvestigate production, quality and safety process issues and develop solutions to resolveAnalyse breakdowns and determine solutions to increase equipment reliability and uptimeLead technical R&D projects and initiativesInvestigate metallurgical issues that arise during manufacturing and develop solutions to resolveEXPERIENCEMechanical Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience and qualificationsExtensive experience in a Refinery or coin manufacturing environment will be highly regardedA background in metallurgy is desirableWHAT WE OFFERWe value the contribution our people make to the Perth Mint and have developed an amazing remuneration and employee benefits scheme to reward our people for their hard work.
