2nd line risk role in Credit and Provisioning Governance Permanent opportunity Sydney based role How will I help? We're on the hunt for a Senior Manager in Credit and Provisioning Governance who's eager to make a substantial impact within our organisation. This key 2nd Line role is all about providing consolidated support and governance for credit provisioning and prudential standards, all the while being backed by our prudential and reporting subject matter experts. In this role you'll collaborate closely with the Executive Manager of Prudential and Provisioning Governance and their team. Together, you'll ensure that all accountabilities and obligations related to credit provisioning, management, and rating are met with precision. This involves orchestrating and leading forums to keep track of remediation issues, providing essential updates to committees and senior stakeholders, and maintaining the integrity of our SOx (credit provisioning) process and risk control matrix. Day-to-day you'll engage with stakeholders across the business to ensure that the management of obligations and processes concerning credit provisioning, management, and ratings is seamless. By employing your project management skills, you'll oversee the identification, monitoring, and remediation of any gaps in our control environment. You're also the one who'll organise and steer forums and working groups, aiming for proactive issue remediation and effective communication with senior management. We expect you to keep our committees and stakeholders in the loop with regular updates about control environment status and remediation activities. Plus, you'll be the guardian of our SOx process and risk controls matrix, ensuring that risks are managed effectively. The management of prudential and SOx attestations, both annual and quarterly, will also fall under your purview. What's in it for me? We're looking for someone who's adept at delivering projects from start to finish, has a keen eye for risk management, and boasts a solid understanding of the end-to-end credit process with 6+ years of proven experience in Credit Risk and/or Process and Controls. Your communication skills must be top-notch, capable of managing stakeholder relationships across various levels of our organisation. A continuous improvement mindset and a self-directed nature are all critical. Plus, your ability to build effective relationships and communicate across the organisation will be key to your success.
