The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA),are an integral part of the South Australian Government'scommitment to the maintenance, management and improvement ofgovernment building assets that underpin essential communityservices. All government owned sites which are operated by aParticipating Agency of the Arrangements are In-scope of theAGFMA. TheOpportunity The Department's AGFMA Directorate,is responsible for administering the AGFMA on behalf of the SouthAustralian Government. This includes responsibility for developmentand publication of relevant policies, processes and guidancematerial. The Senior Contract Officer is responsible for monitoring theeffectiveness of the processes that the Facilities ManagementServices Provider (FMSP) has implemented. The role providesassurance on the delivery of contractual obligations and thequality and safety of services provided, including how the FMSPmonitors the quality and safety of Government assets. The rolemanages, monitors and reviews contract performance, risks anddeliverables and recommends measures to drive optimumoutcomes. This includes evaluatinglegal, commercial and contractual risks, issues and disputes andproviding recommended solutions to problems; reviewing contract KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs) and undertaking regular reviews ofthe Contract Management Plan and processes. The Senior Contract Officer will Identify possible root causes toissues which may impact FMSP performance, develop plans to supportimproved service delivery and draft contract variations and assistwith requests regarding legal and compliance issues to ensurestandards are met and document, govern and monitor in consultationwith contract managers any improvement plans, cure plans orrectifications. About You We're looking for aproactive individual with proven experience in contractadministration within major/complex environments. Your ability towork independently, communicate effectively, and implement changewill be essential in this role. The successful candidatewill demonstrate a strong understanding of legal, business, andcommercial issues, along with excellent analytical andcommunication skills.
