What you’ll do
WooliesX is seeking Senior Chapter Lead Engineering to join the Fulfilment domain to build services in the Fulfilment platform that powers fulfilment for Australia’s leading supermarket with significant growth. You’ll be working within a fast-paced team focused on solving technical, product and customer experience challenges.
The successful applicant must have an innovative approach to solving problems and must demonstrate the passion and commitment to continually strive for excellence through a customer-facing lens.
- Demonstrated technical leadership capability and proven experience in modern engineering practices and disciplines.
- Ability to stay calm in challenging circumstances and work through problems methodically.
- Ability to question decisions and challenge the status quo.
- Be details oriented.
- Good understanding of Agile & Lean delivery principles. Provide input to team processes.
What you’ll bring
- Strong alignment to our technical stack with previous experience in: .NET skills including C#, .NET Core, Rest APIs, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Azure
- Demonstrable experience in Unit Testing Principles
- Always-on microservice architecture in addition to with event streaming, service bus or message queues (Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar)
- Strong MS SQL Server including performance optimisation
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation and a strong understanding of web security (OWASP TOP 10, etc.)
