ABOUT THE POSITION The Senior Manager / Senior Account Manager of Federal Government will focus on driving business growth of the Federal Government business nationally by supporting senior management in identifying new business opportunities. You will play an integral part in designing and delivering workforce solutions for our Federal Government clients through contingent, permanent and project services alongside a highly supportive Account Management team. As a consistent high achiever who thrives in a dynamic environment you will build highly productive stakeholder relationships with multiple government departments. You will have extensive government experience in either Federal or State government, have an understanding of APS recruitment procedures including merit-based principles, strong market knowledge and the ability to develop as a subject matter expert in Federal Government. You will be responsible for Consultants and Recruitment Resources appointed under your management and the delivery of key programs of work. RESPONSIBILITIES Identifying new business opportunities and coordinating Request for Quotes (RFQs) Provide clear direction to resources to support the delivery of services Be actively involved in management meetings to support the national team Network, develop business and promote Robert Walters Attend regular industry and networking events to stay informed about new trends Be create, innovative and forward thinking in your recruitment practices Maintain regular tracking of job activities Ongoing management responsibilities of Contingent workforce Attend regular meetings with contract management teams ABOUT YOU 5+ years in Federal or State Government experience 10+ years management experience in Recruitment Existing relationships in Government Deep understanding of Australian Public Service (APS) recruitment procedures High levels of integrity with entrepreneurial acumen Ability to coach and mentor less experienced employees Ability to build strong working relationships Strong client focus, motivated by delivering exceptional client experiences Strong associate and candidate management experience Well-developed business acumen and negotiation skills Outstanding ability to effectively manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment OUR CULTURE We put people at the heart of everything we do.
