Sales Director
AustraliaThe primary function of this Sales Director role is to originate and manage FINBOURNE’s relationships with high-quality, long-term, profitable clients. Its core focus is to generate new sales opportunities and generate incremental revenue through the identification and implementation of a variety of business development-related initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with the product teams, this salesperson will work at the heart of the commercial function to deliver accelerated revenue growth to agreed sales targets. This will be the first salesperson on the ground in Australia, supported by multiple global functions, including sales enablement, sales operations, solution architects, and sales and marketing communications.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and implement new business development tactics to achieve annual sales targets
Target potential clients in Australia to build long-term profitable relationships
Target potential influencer network in Australia to drive referrals and recommendations
Develop and implement an individual sales plan that delivers commercial objectives
Work collaboratively with product and marketing teams to achieve sales related objectives
Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from lead generation to won-live
Oversee client onboarding progression to ensure a smooth process with effective client liaison
Ensure CRM system (MS Dynamics) is maintained with up-to-date account, contact, and opportunity pipeline information
Ensure campaigns are managed effectively through MS Dynamics, including all activity, call reports etc
Provide feedback from clients to product teams and other stakeholders across FINBOURNE
Collaborate with BD individuals across FINBOURNE to maintain a cohesive and productive commercial culture
Build FINBOURNE’s market presence and generate opportunity leads via
Attendance at suitable industry events – third-party conferences and FINBOURNE-hosted events
Market briefings, roundtables etc
Support of FINBOURNE driven thought leadership, articles etc
What skills, experience and qualifications we require
Degree in business or equivalent professional qualification
At least FIVE years working as a senior sales professional and at least FOUR in professional services (Fintech experience is desirable)
Demonstrable sales skills and a track record of attaining sales targets
Significant experience influencing at c-suite level
Excellent communication skills, extensive experience using MS desktop applications
Detail driven with strong organisational skill
Ability to demonstrate initiative and also lead a team
