Reporting to the ‘GM, Children Services’you’ll lead your management team to ensure all 20 OSHCservices are progressive and align with current mission growthstrategies which includes the following:
Inspire the OSHC team with a consistent and collaborative leadership ethos to lift overall engagement and service support to sustain success and maintain excellent staff morale Review current OSHC services operational effectiveness, and service delivery outcomes to formulate a productive OSHC growth & development plan Monitor practices and compliance as per the National Quality Framework, state regulations, child ratios, WHS policies and legislation Manage all Deed of Licenses, lease arrangements, CCB and sustainability applications Lead the promotion, growth & development of the Y WA OSHC Services with key stakeholders including school principals, P&C groups, industry bodies, etc. Prepare annual budgets, monthly monitoring, and the distribution of monthly budget statements Ensure ‘The Y Way to Social Impact’ (evidence-informed practice) is embedded across OSHC services Essential requirements
Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Leadership, Early Childhood Education, Diploma of Children Services or similar Extensive experience within the Early Childhood sector, with at least 3 years’ experience in a management or leadership position Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, Children Services law, and other relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practice Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and Qikkids (desirable) Who is the Y WA and what we do ?
