Your new role As theManager of Pricing, your crucial role involves shaping the financial landscape of the organization. You’ll lead a team that delivers sophisticated revenue and pricing insights, informing high-level decision-making across the Executive, Board, and Government. Your focus is on achieving cost and quality outcomes for the business in South Australia. Key accountabilities will include: Build and lead a high performing team that works collaboratively toward achieving the organisations goals: Set baseline conditions for productive work, oversee management processes, and invest in team development whilst maintaining a strong working relationship with staff and ensuring strategic business goals are achieved. Strategic pricing and revenue implementation: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement revenue and pricing strategies, policies and initiatives. Strategic oversight and compliance: Oversee SA Water’s price setting process, ensuring high quality revenue, demand, and price modelling. Overseeing price modeling and analytics: Ensuring high-quality modeling outputs and pricing advice, developing price models for business needs and monitoring regulatory implications. Strategic stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to positively impact pricing outcomes for customers. Enhancing commercial outcomes: Promote innovative engagement activities that influence pricing and affordability. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for these roles, you will demonstrate: Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplines. Demonstrated high-level financial expertise and commercial acumen Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills, along with effective interpersonal and negotiation abilities Substantial experience dealing with revenue, pricing, and regulatory issues related to utility services Knowledge and experience working in a regulatory environment and understanding regulatory requirements Experienced people leader capable of shaping the team’s future direction A great customer experience is best achieved by having a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the community we serve.
