Some of the key duties & responsibilities would include: Manage, lead, and develop the Audit team to ensure successful completion and execution of assigned engagements across a range of complexity and scale Service line management, including contribution to overall service line strategy and providing feedback and development to junior members of the team Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the design of an appropriate audit approach for each assignment Review working papers, audit queries, correspondence and reports prepared by the team to ensure compliance with audit plan, procedures, and appropriate quality of work Lead and participate in technical audit and accounting matters Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities BDO's Audit practice is a major player within the local marketplace, auditing many of Australia's leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base.
