You will collaboratively support the Principal Legal Officer to provide supervision, leadership and technical guidance to the team. Additionally you will:• Provide representation and advocacy on behalf of members before industrial tribunals• Work in collaboration with organisers to provide information and advice• Assist with enterprise agreement interpretation and negotiation• Provide mentorship support to junior employees in the team• Potentially on occasion act in the principal lawyer roleSkills RequiredYou have in depth working knowledge and significant experience of contemporary employment issues with proven ability to deliver results for union members. You offer a demonstrated experience interpreting and applying legislation, industrial instruments and case law to specific matters.
