As the Director of ICU, you will lead the business and medical workforce planning to ensure growth and continued service improvements within agreed budgets.The Director of ICU provides strong clinical and medicalleadership, expertise and advice to ensure the highest quality ofcare is delivered to our Patients at Epworth Richmond. Consideration for a part time appointment is also available.Key areas of focus for this role include:Provide accessible, responsive and innovative Intensive Care Services.Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, nationally and internationallyLead business and medical workforce planning, resource management to ensure growth and continued service improvementsEnsure effective clinical governance and compliance with legal and regulatory obligationDevelop academic, research and education within ICUYou will make an impact by:Creating and maintaining an engaged culture within the ICU and with our VMOsStrong clinical leadership and experience in directing a private ICUProven ability to communicate and influence across all levelsAbility to develop, implement, monitor and report on annual operating plansExperience in the delivery of major projectsCapacity to present Epworth HealthCare in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholdersStrong understanding of the service delivery models within the private healthcare sectorRequired skills and attributes:You are someone who is passionate about partnering with the Epworth Richmond Executive team to enhance the service and culture of the Intensive Care Unit. You will have Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) with extensive clinical and leadership experience of at least ten years.
