We are looking for a Head for Category to elevate and refine our ever-growing category agenda that propels MECCA to new heights.The Role You Could Play:Reporting to the General Manager of Merchandise, the Head of Category, is to step-change and strategically drive the success of the category portfolio through sales, profitability and growth. As Head of Category, you will be tasked with developing and implementing a long-term strategic agenda that drives transformational change and shifts the dial on the long-term success of MECCA. You will seek growth opportunities to further bolster your market-leading brand offer to exceed customer expectations and deliver the brands they want before they know they want them. Your past knowledge of and love for the P&L will help you decipher opportunities to boost profitability and long-term category excellence. Ultimately, you will establish the end-to-end view for the running of the category and with the support of your team of Brand Managers and key stakeholders, ensure the effective implementation of the category strategy and customer offer. In addition to driving category performance, you will also be responsible for building and engaging a high-performing team of Brand Managers, challenging them, and inspiring them to deliver exceptional service to the portfolio of brand partners within the category and driving them to accelerate category performance.
