We are currently recruiting for Heavy Duty Fitters to join the Mobile Maintenance team on a 2/2 roster at our Woodie Manganese Operation, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to: Live the ConsMin Values - Lead by example everyday through actions, behaviours and decisions - Including compliance with ConsMin safety procedures, safe working practices and life-saving rules Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment Apply OEM maintenance practices, procedures, and information to required maintenance activities Conduct workshop maintenance and maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas Diagnose and repair machines/equipment in both a workshop and field environment Diagnose and repair electrical systems when required Skills and experience required to be successful in this role: Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/pneumatic Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills Product knowledge of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures Excellent organisational and communication skills Air Conditioning Ticket advantageous National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months) Minimum MR class drivers license essential.
