About the Roles An exciting early careers opportunity has arisen for two Graduate Data Analysts to join the Santos team based at our global headquarters in Adelaide.Reporting to the Subsurface Data Team Leader, this position is responsible for developing, documenting, improving and maintaining fit-for-purpose data loading and data management tools, guidelines, and database integration strategies consistent with the Santos Management System (SMS) design philosophies.Key Accountabilities:Deliver recognised expertise in the sourcing, validation, ingestion, curation, and presentation of relevant subsurface data and interpreted output.Develop and maintain master data stores for subsurface data.Prepare and maintain documentation for key subsurface tasks and workflows.Mentor and guide team members, peers, and subsurface professionals in best practice use of data management and workflows.Identify and implement improvements and, where justified, integrate new software to support automated processes including data validation.Ensure alignment with key stakeholders across the subsurface community on subsurface data gaps and quality issues.Prepare and distribute data to joint venture parties, external vendors, and regulators (DEM, GSQ, etc.) as required.Apply critical thinking, deliver plans, and work as directed.Lead small, ad-hoc, projects and teams to deliver identified data improvement outcomes.About youHolding, or nearing the completion of an Engineering, Geoscience or Data Science Degree, the ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the use of databases and document management systems and support tools. In addition, it is essential that you are also able evidence proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power Apps, SQL, Python, and Business Intelligence tools.
