About the Role… We are currently looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions within Bankstown Sports. This role reporting to and working closely alongside the CFO will lead a tight knit team of 5 and will be primarily overlooking the financial and management reporting of the business function across Bankstown Sports and associated Venues. Responsibilities included: Provide leadership and Direction to staff within the finance team by overseeing operations, setting goals and objectives for the team Be responsible for producing monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheets with commentary Regular reporting and interaction with Executive Team and Department heads ensuring fiscal ownership of financial performance across the business. Drive a culture of cost reduction, margin maximisation and effective working capital management across the business Responsibility for the Payroll function. Managing the Annual budget process. Manage the preparation of monthly, yearly and 3-year forecasts Undertake regular Cashflow Monitoring with the support of the SFA Manage Bank Covenants calculations and reporting Preparation of the Annual Report Oversee the key Financial systems – Netsuite, Adaptive and EFTSure Oversee Tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements. Report to CFO and other Stakeholders within the business, and provide advice on how the company and future decisions may be impacted CPA OR CA Previous experience managing Finance Professionals in a finance function Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience using systems such as Adaptive, NetSuite, EFTsure Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to speak up for the benefit of the group Ability to Adjust communication style for varying audiences Why do you want this role?
