The Tasmanian Health Service - Hospitals South is seeking interest for the position of Deputy Manager - Acute Services. The successful application will work alongside Deputy Managers in the Rehabilitation and Community Occupational Therapy teams to assist the Discipline Lead Occupational Therapy with the leadership and management of the Occupational Therapy Service.
The Deputy Manager - Acute Services is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of occupational therapists, diversional therapists and allied health assistants working in multi-disciplinary teams within the medical, surgical and women's and children's streams.

The S ervice The Occupational Therapy Service includes over 90 team members consisting of occupational therapists and assistants, play specialists, diversional therapists, carpenter, and administration officers. We work across acute, sub-acute and community settings, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching Hospital in Tasmania.

Details of Appointment Permanent part time day worker position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. $131,070 - $134,268 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Post-graduate studies in occupational therapy, public health, or health services leadership or management or other related area.
