We specialise in training and assessment for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Electrical sectors.About the roleThis role has a key focus upon the quality of services delivered and ensuring that the appropriate record keeping, and audit trails are professionally documented and up to date. The compliance office will also ensure and maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements by monitoring the RTO’s compliance with the VET Quality Framework and communicate and implement changes to regulatory requirements with other key stakeholders i.e. Compliance Manager, Trainers, Delivery Managers, General Manager and other Administration staff.Key Responsibilities:Monitor VET compliance functionsContribute to monthly Compliance Meetings with all stakeholdersMonitor quality and compliance processes across all RTO Business Units to ensure best practice in risk and complianceMonitor trainer compliance, currency and trainer profilesThe Compliance team is responsible for the provision of nationally recognised qualifications which meet the needs of staff and business units.Attending training programmes for professional-development and continuous improvementParticipating and conducting internal audits and communication with others and advising according actionsMaintaining records of compliance practices and continuous Improvement RegistersAbout youThe successful candidate will support the Competency Training business with maintaining the RTO’s compliance and certification across all operational and training activities.To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (Highly regarded).Vocational Education and Training industry backgroundUnderstanding of the VET Quality Framework with superior knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and the VET Quality Framework.Experience in the preparation and conduct of internal complianceDatabase managementPrevious experience working in a quality assurance/admin role in an RTO environment.Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015.Experience in using an RTO student management system (aXcelerate or other similar).Our Purpose - Through strong relationships built on Trust we Transform assets and people.Our Promise to You - We believe in passionate and innovative people delivering our success.
