Purpose of the role Supporting our network nationally in delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes that are guided by our regulatory authorities and underpinned by CBNs purpose and values. The role will mainly be responsible for the below activities, along with any other reasonable duties as required.
Responsibilities •New business for various insurance products and risks
•Processing of renewals, cancellations and endorsements for multiple portfolios within the CBN Network
•Lodgement and management of Claims for Network Brokers
•Assisting with ongoing Debtor Management for Network Brokers
•Supporting our Network Brokers in times of illness, annual leave and unexpected circumstances
•Building relationships and working with Insurer partners to obtain and negotiate terms of insurance for clients
•Maintaining document trails to satisfy Compliance
•Maintain Invoicing for services provided to ensure financial growth of the Team
•Positive customer service to Network Brokers either via phone or email
•Manage ongoing learning and personal development
•Remain current with Insurer products & coverage
Required Skills & Abilities •Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, processes, and systems to identify non-compliance.
•Working knowledge of Insurance Brokers Code of Practice
•Critical Thinking: Ability to challenge process and propose effective solutions.
•Strong verbal and written communication abilities
•Understanding of the Insurance market and/or Insurance Broker market
•Ability to work well with others, including team members, and the broader Broker community.
•Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to Australian Insurance industry
•Tier 1 or Diploma of Insurance Broking
•Proficient with audit software, data analysis and Microsoft Office
