There is an opportunity to fill Clinical Lead (Senior Project Manager) positions within the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Major Infrastructure Projects division for the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWHBP). About this role These positions will support the Senior Project Directors and Project Directors, through providing clinical expertise, leadership, and direction in the planning and design of clinical services for the NWBHP. The focus of the Clinical Lead is to initiate, develop, coordinate and report on the implementation of the service planning and shared services modelling associated with the NWBHP. The position will be required to initiate, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple government agencies, non-government agencies and community members to facilitate successful project planning and delivery. The position is required to work with and support the Senior Project Director(s), Project Director(s), and the Executive Sponsor, to effectively achieve the required service outcomes. This role reports to the NMHS Executive Director, Commissioning & Redevelopment. About the Project The $1.8 billion New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) is one of the most significant investments for Western Australia and includes: a new Women and Babies Hospital located at the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct in Murdoch a Family Birth Centre and the expansion of obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatology services, birthing suites and theatres at Osborne Park Hospital the expansion of neonatology services at Perth Children's Hospital. This landmark project will not only provide world-class facilities across three sites and replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital, but it will also deliver greater choice for women, families and the community of Western Australia. With a focus on harnessing new technologies and leveraging digital health opportunities, the project will create exciting opportunities and synergies for research and partnerships with universities and health institutes.
