Excellent opportunity to manage large-scale Civil construction projects in the Darwin area Your new company Our client, a successful Civil Contractor operating in the Northern Territory, is recruiting a Civil Project Manager to work on various Civil infrastructure projects in the Darwin area. Your new role As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of projects in accordance with the Client's requirements, on time and to budget. You will be the main point of contact for the client and represent the company in all dealings. This is a permanent full-time role based in Darwin. Your key responsibilities will be: Liaise with and advise clients on project feasibility and delivery methodologies. Develop project plan including scope, budget, schedule, and risk items. Lead, organize and provide direction for Site Supervisors and Leading Hands to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in Quality and Safety. Direction and monitoring of subcontractors, suppliers, and plant hires. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as statutory bodies to facilitate delivery of each project. Monitor and report on project progress, cost, and potential risk, and manage project documentation. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in a similar role working on Civil projects (Bulk earthworks, Road Construction, Storm water drainage, Infrastructure projects). A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent. The ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings. Experience with the implementation of management systems on a project. Experience with subcontract management. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project. Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
