POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Centre Director to join St Nicholas' leadership team. The Director will play an integral part in building the centre's educational team and establishing the service as a leading provider of early childhood education and care in the Branxton community. The successful applicant will play a key role in the success of our Branxton Centre and will be able to collaborate with the St Nicholas leadership team. EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Minimum 3 years' experience in same role Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCSS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance. Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations Demonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Learning Years Framework with the centre curriculum Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education Centre QUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Children's Services or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training Working with Children Check verification number DEC approved child protection training certificate If you genuinely share our passion for Early Childhood Education we would love to hear from you!
