Our people are at the heart of our business and we’re recruiting for an experienced Groups Travel Consultant to join our Australian team. You’ll be able to work flexibly and will be comfortable commuting to either our Sydney or Melbourne offices as required. This is an exceptionally exciting time to join us - as we’re rapidly expanding our global operations.
What You’ll Do
You’ll manage group travel bookings of 20-250 travellers for our prestigious corporate clients. This will include everything from negotiating contract rates with suppliers through to the consulting and operational aspects of the division, making sure groups of people get to where they want to be and get the best deal
You’ll manage all types of travel arrangements including flights, cars, transfers, accommodation, conferencing, special events and partner programming
You’ll arrange both domestic and international travel and negotiate with suppliers for the best deals
What we’re looking for
You’ll be highly experienced in managing group travel bookings, both domestic and international
You'll have experience of using Global Distribution Systems like Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre
You’ll be a great negotiator with experience in managing conferences
You’ll have experience in ticketing and fare building
You’ll be a motivated, pro-active and passionate individual who has excellent communication skills
You’ll be organised and committed to providing outstanding levels of customer service
