An outstanding opportunity awaits you! Our client, located in Edinburgh SA is looking for a full-time Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Welders (Pressure & Ist class).
About the Role:
A large engineering company is looking to employ a Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Welders (Pressure & Ist class) to repair and fabricate various structural products.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Welders (Pressure & Ist class) with a strong work ethic who take pride in their work and can work alongside an established team.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- Qualified as a Boilermaker-Welder / Metal Fabricators / Welder (Pressure & Ist class) through an apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Select, clean, and prepare metal stock
- Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
- Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiseling, and grinding
- Able to work efficiently on your own or within a team environment
