Attendance to our Boddington mine operation is required on an adhoc basis. As the Treating professional, you will be responsible for all functions and activities associated with managing injuries and illness related to biomechanics, motor control and common musculoskeletal conditions. Involvement in the rehabilitation of injured employees, pre and post injury prevention and management, fitness for work assessments, and return to work case management. Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: • Injury rehabilitation program. • Return to work case management. • Injury Management & Workers Compensation management • Proactive preventative consultation • Maintenance of Musculoskeletal risk profiles ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: • Sound knowledge of key concepts, theories and practices related to the treatment and assessment of injuries and illness related to biomechanics, motor control and common musculoskeletal conditions. • Health regulatory framework and issues relevant to the industry and the region in which the Asset operates. • Workers compensation legislation and processes. • Return to Work Case Management. • Demonstrated manual therapy and exercise prescription skills. • A high level of professionalism in all aspects of practice including professional correspondence and record-keeping. Qualifications for this position are: • A minimum of 4 years practice experience is preferred but not essential. • A bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or other relevant tertiary qualified Allied health care professional who specializes in musculoskeletal Injury Treatment. • and current Australian Registration. .
