As part of our expansion, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Vehicle Operation: Drive a truck to transport goods to assigned locations, adhering to traffic laws and company guidelines.
• Load Management: Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing appropriate equipment and methods to ensure safe handling and placement.
• Safety Compliance: Follow established safety procedures during loading, driving, and unloading to ensure the protection of cargo and vehicle integrity.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform minor repairs as needed to maintain the truck in optimal working condition.
• Weight Distribution: Manage and assess load weights to comply with legal weight limits and ensure balanced distribution for safe vehicle operation.
• Cargo Security: Secure all cargo properly and cover it as necessary to prevent damage or loss during transit.
• Documentation: Verify loading documents, inspect the condition of goods, and obtain delivery confirmations and necessary signatures.
• Communication: Provide regular updates to dispatch and management regarding delivery status, any issues, or delays encountered.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional manner during deliveries, addressing any questions or special requests.
